Need help with my Independent Travel to Egypt?
I am British, born in England and have lived there all my life. I have an Egyptian father who has lived in Egypt all his life, and a British mother who has lived in England all her life. I have no documents to prove the identity of my father as I have never met him.
I am going to Egypt to meet my father and do not know how long I will be staying there for.
I am flying so will enter Cairo Airport. Here what kind of Visa should I get? How long do they last for? etc.
Will I need to go to the Mogamma Building at Tahrir Square for Tourist Registration?
If I decide to accompany my father for a long period of time. Is this possible/How would I go about it? How long could I stay with him in Egypt? etc.
How do I extened my Visa? How many times can I get it extended etc?
Basically I am intending to go to Egypt to meet my egyptian father who I have never met before. I am entering via Cairo Airport… from here what would advise me doing… I want to stay for around 6 month.
i would ask at the travl agents and see what they say if not lokon the internet at the travel sites they should be able to tell you what you would need to do
